BACKGROUND

MTU Power Systems Sdn Bhd (MPS), is a Joint Venture Company (JVC) between Sapura Resources Berhad and MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH that provides world-class power solutions and complete life-cycle support. Previously engaged with a website developer but couldn’t meet their necessary demands and requirements. Hence, they turn to Rebrand for consultation and look for solutions to remedy the situation and create a brand new landing page for their website.

Strategy

After several sessions of conversation, we found out that MTU Power Systems has bought a hosting package but lost the access to their CloudFlare account. This has invalidated many of our options such as the loss of their original domain. Furthermore, this also has created an issue when it comes to having a SSL Encryption on top of the original domain.

MTU Power Systems has previously created a mock up design so this has saved us a high amount of time for brainstorming and creating the direction of the landing page. Our team then quickly identified the necessary blocks and components required to build the page and work together on this project as soon as we could.

Solution

We then decided to purchase a new domain and ensure a smooth transition of the new domain into their existing hosting account. Besides, we also installed a new SSL encryption lock on the new domain to protect and secure the domain as this is a standard practice for businesses that want to have a professional website.

With the aid of their mock up designs, we are able to quickly flesh out the new landing page by adhering the corporate branding guidelines. MTU Power Systems are quite fascinated and satisfied with the collaboration with Rebrand at the end of our month-long engagement.
